Trend Spotting

Trend Spotting

Whether I am staging a house to sell or  helping a homeowner create the perfect haven to live in, I must stay on top of the current trends in design.  This summer was full of inspiration and trend spotting.  Recently Scott Kravet, Chief Creative Office for Kravet Inc., provided an amazing presentation at Interiors Trading Company in Jacksonville.  Designers sat in awe over the beautiful fabrics he brought to share.  As we all passed around the gorgeous silks, velvets, linens and cottons lots of ohs are ahs were shared by all!

Here are a few of my favorites:

Kate Spade has a beautiful line with Kravet.  There were so many fun colorful patterns it was hard to choose a couple favorites to share!

Kate Spade needlepoint

I love the green (it is actually the same print that is on my iPhone cover)

Scott emphasized that Bullion Fringe is OUT and tapes are in – like this beautiful tape below

Brunschwig & Fils  = GORGEOUS!  The pictures do not do it justice.

Lilly Pulitzer for Lee Jofa does not disappoint.  The iconic Lilly prints transfer beautifully to home textiles – and I especially love the outdoor fabric line.  Many of these come in multiple color ways and with coordinating tapes.

Part of the Kravet Couture line I am in love with this print on cotton!  It would be beautiful on an accent piece or throw pillows!

And this one on linen

So many beautiful options from which to choose… I can’t wait to see some of these in my clients’ homes!

It's only fair to share...Pin on PinterestShare on FacebookShare on Google+Tweet about this on TwitterShare on LinkedInShare on Tumblr
